The fine print

  1. The Promoter is Union Medical Benefits Society (‘UniMed').
  2. Accuro Health Insurance (Accuro) is a brand owned, operated and underwritten by UniMed.
  3. The Promotion is an offer for entrants to receive their first month of health insurance premiums for free on their new Accuro health insurance policy (‘the Prizes’).
  4. The Promotion applies to SmartCare, SmartCare+, KidSmart and SmartStay products only.
  5. This Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  6. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash or used at a later date.
  7. The Prize must be redeemed on the first month of premiums.
  8. To be eligible for entry, entrants must:
    • apply for an eligible individual policy and have that policy made current before the end of the promotion;
    • not currently hold nor previously have held an Accuro branded health insurance policy;
    • use the promotional code when requesting or amending a quote;
    • not have a financial adviser registered against their policy. This is a direct promotion only.
    • not be an employee or family member of an employee of UniMed (a child, grandchild, grandparent, parent, partner, partner’s parent, and sibling is considered by UniMed to be family for the purposes of this Promotion) or any business partners of UniMed (including Financial Advisers).

  9. One month free will be applied to the policy once it has been assessed and made current.
  10. UniMed and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  11. UniMed reserves the right to suspend, modify, terminate, or cancel the Promotion at any time.
  12. These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time by UniMed.
