At Accuro, we have partnered with Windcave to manage our member’s credit card data. Windcave is a specialised secure and encrypted payment solution that is certified to industry recognised standards (PCI-DSS, ISO 9001, SOC II Type II, Visa AIS and MasterCard SDP). We will only see a unique token from Windcave, which our bank then uses to take payments. We never store your credit card information.
How does it work?
To make a payment by credit card, you will be taken to our encrypted Windcave payment webpage to input your credit card information. Accuro only accepts Visa and Mastercard. Windcave registers this information with Accuro’s bank and issues us with a token to take payment. The transaction is processed through our bank with this unique token. Windcave and Accuro do not transmit your credit information at any step in the payment process.
How will my data be stored?
Windcave store your credit card information in their New Zealand data centre. This data is secured by their enterprise IT team that ensure all Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard requirements are met. This includes regular internal and external penetration testing to ensure ongoing compliance, use of enterprise grade firewalls with IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), constant, detailed monitoring of systems and networks, regularly tested and updated security processes, testing and development completed to meet web application security standards.
