With Hospital and Surgical, our comprehensive base plan, you're covered for just about every cost associated with hospital and surgical care. It means you can rest assured that you'll be well looked after without having to worry about the costs of your care.

Here's an example of just some of the other benefits you get with your Hospital and Surgical plan:

  • General surgery of up to $300,000 per person per year including accommodation and physiotherapy in private hospital, and surgeons' and anaesthetists' fees.
  • Oral surgery of up to $300,000 per person per year
  • Non-surgical hospital care of up to $65,000 a year, for instance non-surgical cancer treatment (up to $25,000 per course), oncology consultations / treatment following surgery and treatment for asthma and diabetes.
  • Major diagnostic procedures such as MRI, CT scans Angiograms and endoscopies. 
  • Specialist and diagnostic consultations before and after hospitalisation.
  • Overseas treatment of up to $25,000 a year for necessary surgery. 
  • Bereavement grant of $2,500 if you or your partner dies from illness between the ages of 21 and 65.
  • Contribution to vascectomy or sterilisation for women of up to $3,000 after three years.
